Algonquin College students release LipDub Music Video!

With great excitement, Algonquin College students have released their LipDub music video featuring hit song “Hollywood” by Michael Buble.

Shot in one afternoon in March 2011, hundreds of Algonquin College students, staff, and alumni gathered to show-off their school spirit and fantastic learning facilities. The film was organized and promoted mainly through the use of a facebook page where hundreds of people suggested songs, scheduled meetings, and shared the finished product.

LipDubs are short, fun digital films that use lip-syncing and audio dubbing to create the same feel as a music video. However, they are shot in one, continuous take. Many colleges and universities are turning towards social media efforts when it comes to school spirit and Algonquin College is one of a few colleges in Canada to shoot a LipDub.

Be sure to share the link to the video – – with all of your friends, family, and colleagues, on Twitter, Facebook, or by email.
