Advertising and Marketing Communications Management students Sarah Hagarty, Heather MacDonald and Pascale Lapointe took home bronze in the Canadian Marketing Association (CMA) Student Awards Creative category for their SAVR Loyalty Program campaign.
The award winners and their schools are recognized as one of Canada’s leading marketing schools and are showcased on the CMA website. The award also gives the students a foot in the door with this award on their resume.
“Winning a CMA Bronze was an exciting and incredible experience,” said team member Heather MacDonald. “I was able to network with many people in the industry, and just talk to people of various roles to learn more about the different areas of advertising. I was so happy to see that effort, ambition and long nights working receive such terrific recognition”.
These kind of awards are one of the reasons the program at Algonquin continues to attract the best students.
The instructor and coach for the group, Advertising and Marketing Communications Management Professor Jake Volt, proudly commented, “This award is the big leagues. The students collected their statues along with teams from John St., DDB, Taxi, BBDO and Cundari.”
