The 2012 President’s Breakfast was a great success, with over 1,100 employees and faculty attending the event in person and online through live web streaming. Perth campus also joined through a video call! If you missed his presentation, you can view the podcast here.

Just a fraction of the crowd in attendance...wow!

Professor Catherine Kenney served as the emcee, and President Kent MacDonald officially addressed the College for the first time. He emphasized the importance of teaching and learning, technology, talked about Algonquin’s bright future, and his commitment to being a leader on students’ mental health. President MacDonald also unveiled the new Office of the President website, which you can visit here.

Thank you to all who helped make the 2012 President’s Breakfast a huge success and to all who attended!

A very inspirational morning and a wonderful way to start our new year! I heard the phrase “Algonquin is close to home”….but to me Algonquin is home! Can we get the PowerPoint? Dr. MacDonald referenced so many books that I cannt remember them. I would love to read some of his recommendations.

What is ‘emcee’? If you meant Master of Ceremonies, that is what you should have typed.
